KIERAN FEST LIVE

WHAT A NIGHT!
On Friday 6 September, hundreds of people packed out Chorlton's Irish Club for an evening of music and poetry in memory of Kieran Crump Raiswell.
Tickets had sold out in advance and there was a great atmosphere as Christine and Roland welcomed friends, family, neighbours and the community to remember Kieran by listening to some great music and words.
Kieran's uncle, Tony, kicked things off with his band
Fifteen Minute Gap's debut performance. Big Warm Babies got the audience rocking with everything from Love Will Tear Us Apart to Mustang Sally, before German indie outfit Park 'n' Ride played a great set, their first in the UK. Emperor Zero finished off the night with a polished performance and in between award-winning poet Antony Rowland entertained the crowd with some clever and funny spoken words.

Everyone had a great time but Kieran was never far from our thoughts - he would have loved the night. And along the way we raised more money for Kieran's fantastic chosen charity 42nd Street. whose Director, Vera Martins moved the crowd with a reminder that all the money raised will be helping young people under stress, a fitting legacy as Kieran was one ore most caring and socially-aware boys you could ever meet.
